Biography

Igor is an AI post-doctoral researcher at the GVCdtLab, where he is developing AI-based solutions for shock-resilient trade policies. He closely works with Professor Thierry Warin (HEC, CIRANO) on the research project entitled « Economic impacts of hydrological changes on maritime traffic and international trade in the St Lawrence Basin: a digital twin approach » which received a grant of the Fonds de Recherche du Québec. Igor graduated with a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Polytechnique Montreal (fall 2024), where he specialized in deep generative modeling (GenAI) and multi-agent reinforcement learning for decision-making and policy applications.
