Special edition - CIREQ-CIRANO-RRECQ workshop on environmental and natural resource economics

Special full day workshop in honour of Bob Cairns

Saturday 1 Nov 2025
From 9AM To 5:30PM

On Saturday, November 1, a special session will be held in honour of Robert Cairns, who has been a member of the workshop organizing team since its inception. The day will celebrate his significant contributions to environmental and natural resource economics, as well as industrial organization—particularly his recent research on green accounting and the economic theory of resource sustainability.

This special workshop was made possible through the generous financial support of the Nanji Family Fund, which supports academic programming in the Department of Economics at McGill University.

This event is organized in collaboration with CIREQ and RRECQ
