Andrée-Lise Méthot is founder and managing partner of Cycle Capital Management (CCM). In less than ten years, this investment platform has closed 5 funds and has become the largest cleantech venture capital firm in Canada with $385 million under management. Headquartered in Montreal with offices in Toronto and China and a presence in New York and Seattle, the firm invests in areas ranging from agriculture to green chemistry to the Internet of Things. To date, CCM has invested over $150 million, generating over $1 billion in co-investments.

In addition to sitting on the boards of several CCM portfolio companies, she is founder and chair of the board of directors of the Ecofuel Accelerator and co-founder of the Ecofuel Fund, Écotech Québec and the SWITCH Alliance. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC), of Transition énergétique Québec (TEQ) and of the Société Québécoise des infrastructures. She is also a member of the strategic committee of the Paris Green Fund set up by the City of Paris, the selection committee of the New Energy Pioneers competition of Bloomberg New Energy Finance and the North American advisory committee of the Cleantech Group.
Internationally, she co-chaired the UNEP Working Group on Social Life Cycle Assessment. She serves on numerous boards including Sustainable Development Technology Canada, the Bloomberg New Energy Pioneers panel, and the Cleantech Group advisory committee.

In 2018, she received the rank of Officer of the National Order of Quebec for her contribution to the birth of a cleantech-friendly ecosystem in Quebec. She has also received recognition awards from the Association of Québec Women in Finance, the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and was named one of Canada's Top 16 Clean16 personalities, one of the Top 20 Cleantech Investors by CleanTechnica and one of the most influential women in sustainability and cleantech by Corporate Knights.

Ms. Méthot holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from Laval University and a Master's degree in Geology from the University of Montreal.

A corporate director and international consultant, Louise Roy was Chair of the CIRANO Board of Directors from 2012 to 2025.

CIRANO Honorary Guest Fellow, Louise Roy has held́ senior management positions in the urban transportation, air transportation and communications industries. She waś CEO of the Société de transport de Montréal (1985-1992), Executive Vice President for the Americas of Air France at its Paris headquarters (1994-1997), CEO of Telemedia Communications Inc. (1997-2000) and Executive Vice President of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) (2000-2003).

Ms. Roy is Chancellor Emeritus at Université de Montréal.

During her career, she has also served as a director of Power Financial Corporation and Intact Financial Corporation, the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), Montreal International, Provigo Inc, Laurentian Bank of Canada, Videotron Ltd. and Domtar Corporation. She has chaired the Board of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, a cultural granting organization. Ms. Roy is currently a director of the Opéra de Montréal, the Montreal International Music Competition Foundation (MIMC) and the Montreal Airport.
