As part of the Research Day of the School of Management of the University of Sherbrooke, Martino Pelli, associate professor in the Department of Economics of the University of Sherbrooke and CIRANO researcher, received the  2021 « Research Excellence Award ». 

This distinction recognizes his excellence in research over the past three years as well as his ability to address the consequences of major events (such as hurricanes) at the household level.

Professor Pelli's research interests include development economics, environmental and natural resource economics, and international trade. His work has been the subject of prestigious international publications.
