CIRANO organized the awards ceremony for the winners of the 37th Bourstad Challenge on May 22, 2024.

The contest ran from February 12 to April 12, 2024. Participants in the Bourstad 2024 Challenge were able to manage a virtual portfolio of $200,000 and invest this amount in various investment vehicles. 

Thanks to Benoit Desgroseillers, Vice President, Talent Development, at Finance Montréal, and Honorary President of the contest; Alexandre Bardoux, Regional Director, Regulatory Affairs, at Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), and President of the jury; and jury vice-presidents Danielle Filistin, Director, Strategic Investment Funds, at Desjardins; and Michel Gariépy, Analyst, Financial Education Division, at Autorité des marchés financiers (Québec).

Congratulations to the 2,593 participants and 66 participating educational institutions for their commitment and outstanding work during the Bourstad 2024 Challenge.
