CIRANO research professionals Aïchata Souleymane Koné and Bilal Siddika presented the GVCdtLab at the HEC Forecast conference, organized by HEC Montréal's Data Science Club. They interacted with numerous students interested in internships, supervised projects and research professional positions for projects related to the GVCdtLab at CIRANO. Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, CEO of CIRANO, OBVIA researcher and professor at Polytechnique Montréal, took part in the panel “From research to reality: deploying AI projects from the laboratory to the large-scale” presented by Anne Nguyen (Quebec Innovation Council), and moderated by Souhaib Merabet. Alongside David Marotte (KPMG in Québec), Sarah Mjidou (CDPQ) and David Beauchemin (Microsoft Azure), she discussed the challenges and opportunities of moving from research to concrete AI applications.
