Biography

Walid Marrouch holds a Ph.D. in applied economics from HEC Montréal. He is a full professor of economics and currently serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at the Lebanese American University (LAU).

His primary research interests are environmental and resource economics, energy economics, and applied game theory. In addition to his academic research, he also works as a consultant for several international organizations.

He is also a Fellow at the Economic Research Forum for the Arab Countries, Iran, and Turkey (ERF).
