Join us on January 21, 2026, for the official launch of the 2026 Bourstad challenge, marking the opening of registrations!

The Bourstad 2026 challenge will take place from February 9 to April 10.

The evening will open with a conference on Economic Perspectives for 2026, where Matthieu Arseneau, Deputy Chief Economist at National Bank of Canada, will provide an analysis of current economic trends and share forecasts for the year 2026.Dalibor Stevanovic, Professor at ESG UQAM, Co-Holder of the ESG UQAM Chair in Macroeconomics and Forecasting, Principal Researcher, and Head of CIRANO Pole on Modeling of the Quebec economy, will then present the Chair and its tools. 

Following this conference, this event will continue with remarks from the honorary president of the 2026 Bourstad challenge, Ms. Julie-Andrée Côté, CFA, Chair of the Board of Directors of CFA Montreal. These addresses will be followed by an overview of the key features of the 2026 Bourstad challenge.

To conclude the event, a cocktail reception will be offered to in-person participants.
