Montréal Workshop In Honor of Russell Davidson

Event organized in collaboration with

This Festschrift workshop is being held in honour of Russell Davidson, an internationally renowned econometrician whose contributions to econometric theory, statistical inference, specification testing, and, in particular, bootstrap methods have been foundational and widely cited. His work has had a lasting influence on both the theory and practice of modern econometrics. Beyond his research contributions, Russell is known to generations of economists worldwide through his influential textbooks, from which hundreds of thousands of students have learned econometrics. The workshop brings together his colleagues, co-authors, former students and friends, including participants travelling from as far away as Australia, to celebrate his remarkable contributions to the field.
