Michael Smart, Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto, has been appointed a CIRANO Researcher in the Economic and Fiscal Policies theme. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University.
Luca Mazzone, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Université de Montréal, has been appointed a CIRANO Researcher in the Inequality and Poverty theme. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the University of Zurich and the Swiss Finance Institute.
René Morissette, Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Relations at Université du Québec en Outaouais, has been appointed a CIRANO Researcher in the Skills theme. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Industrial Relations from Université de Montréal.
Philippe d’Astous, Full Professor in the Department of Finance at HEC Montréal, has been appointed a CIRANO Researcher in the Economic Cycles and Financial Markets theme. He holds a Ph.D. in Risk Management and Insurance from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.
Katalin Springel, Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at HEC Montréal, has been appointed a CIRANO Researcher in the Sustainable Development and Agri-food theme. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
