Martin trépanier, professor at Polytechnique Montréal and director of the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche sur les réseaux d'entreprise, la logistique et le transport (CIRRELT) presented the SLGL dataHub digital twin project of the GVCdtLab, supported by the CIRANO, at the 59th annual conference of the Association québécoise des transports (AQTr).

He explained how the digital tool integrates economic activities and road, rail, air and maritime transport networks, for an improved understanding of economic dynamics in real time. By assessing the resilience of networks in the event of disruptions, linked for example to current trade uncertainties and climate change, the digital twin provides an integrated view of the economy and transport to help shape public policy.
