As trade tensions intensify, and the United States imposes tariffs on certain Canadian products, diversifying export markets is becoming an unavoidable priority for Quebec companies. In this context, SMEs in the bio-food sector, which are still under-represented among exporters, face major financial challenges.

CIRANO invites you to a webinar featuring the results of the study « Autonomie financière et activités d’exportation des PME du secteur bioalimentaire : Planifier adéquatement les dépenses à engager », authored by Josée St-Pierre (UQTR and CIRANO), Annie Royer (Université Laval and CIRANO), Crispin Enagogo (Université Sainte-Anne, N.-É.) and Jean-Pierre D. Menguele (UQTR). The aim of this research is to gain a better understanding of the financial issues specific to exporting SMEs, and to propose a useful planning tool.
