This study uses available job advertisements to understand organizations' digital skills needs. The study points out that while advanced skills are sometimes required, they are overshadowed by basic competencies, which seem to be lacking and yet necessary for a very large number of jobs. The results highlight that it is also necessary to think beyond the expertise related to digital transformation projects and worry about the skills required to execute these transformed activities.  The results show that the most in-demand digital skills are those related to office tools, but there is also a growing demand for more specialised ICT skills.
